Introduction
Making a
living or having a life?
Welcome. Evan and I are eager to share our
valuable and
hard-won
information with you. You are going to learn how to create your own
security, earn up to $50 an hour, gain free time to spend
doing what you want to do, lower your stress, raise your sense of self
worth, and get your life back. We love doing this work and we're
committed to bringing you the latest up-to-date information on starting
a cleaning business. Over the past year we've been overwhelmed with
positive feedback from our ebook readers. We're pleased to know that
our ebook is out there helping people get self-employed.
As you'll see, we're not offering some fantastic Pie-in-the-Sky, become
a bazillionaire, make-a-million-bucks doing
absolutely
bupkes overnight scheme.
We wouldn't dare waste your time or ours with that kind of
hoo-hah.
This is a down-to-earth business that anyone can start and grow for
under a hundred dollars. We know, because we've been in the cleaning
business for nine years now. We continue to clean houses and offices
because it pays very well, it gives us the free time we need to pursue
our other goals, and we like it.
We've started and operated successful house cleaning businesses three
different times in three different cities -- Boulder, Colorado; Taos,
New Mexico and San Luis Obispo, California.
We know our start-up techniques work, and we know they'll
work for you,
just about anywhere.
One of the biggest fears people have about going into business for
themselves is the fear of having no real security. But natural
entrepreneurs know that real security is being your own boss. You
create security when you make the effort to call your own shots, set
your own schedule, and make the key business decisions that make sense
for your life.
One day several years ago, Evan asked if I might be
interested in
helping him with the vacation rental units he cleaned. He knew I'd like
the extra cash, but he also knew I might consider cleaning too far
below me on the career ladder.
"Get real," I said.
Just joking, I didn't say that. I was genuinely
interested. I had no
idea what I was getting into. All I knew was that he'd spent many years
cleaning for a living, and in the time we had been together I never
heard him kvetch about work the way I had. His cleaning work pays his
bills, but he's a hyper-creative person, an ambitious composer who
always seems to have time to devote to his musical projects. More
importantly, he has the energy for them.
So I
tried it. I made
three
discoveries:
1.
Cleaning is
not drudgery when you're getting paid well to do it, and
2.
It feels
great to walk into a mess and leave behind bright clean
rooms, but most of all,
3.
It's
fantastic being in charge of my own schedule and my own income.
Best of all, I discovered that doing
this work made me feel good, and I
began to find time and energy to spare for all my creative goals.
We wrote this ebook in the hope that
others will benefit from our
experience.
When we began on this path together we fixed our
hearts on
many personal goals. By now we have reached them all, surpassed many of
them, and continue to set new ones. We've succeeded in coming a long
way through trial and error, but we know that if we'd had a little more
guidance along the way, in a book such as this one, we would have
reached our goals more quickly, and spent less energy, time and money
in getting here.
If you need to begin making good money
within
days, if you
want good-paying work with flexible hours or if you are seeking a
better alternative to a conventional J.O.B. you can have it with your
own house cleaning business. Of course, in order to become successful
you have to learn how to systemize and refine your basic skills.
Our ebook will not only show you how to systemize, refine,
and become
successfully self-employed in the lucrative business of house cleaning,
we also teach you time-saving tricks for cleaning everything --
including the kitchen sink.
Cleaning is a field in which there is plenty of job security. It's
recession-proof. There will always be messy houses and there will
always be people who don't want to clean them.
Now let's get started
having a life instead of
merely making a living!
