Car Cleaning Tips
Here are some good car cleaning tips: put a half a box of baking soda
between the seats to eliminate any funky smells. You can also place a cup
of fresh ground coffee under the seat, but you may want coffee whenever
you go for a drive.
First, take out the mats, and vacuum them. Use the vacuum attachments
to suck up the grit and gravel in the hard-to-reach places under the seats.
Use the vacuum's upholstery nozzle on the seats and headliner, and doors.
Vacuum your carpets each time you wash the car. This prevents the grit
from your shoes from wearing the carpet down. Vacuum from the top down. The
grime you miss will end up on the floor and you'll catch it when you get there.
Next time you rent a steam cleaner for your home carpeting, clean your car's
carpets and upholstery too. If you don't have access to a steam cleaner,
use a carpet cleaning product and work it in with a soft brush.
When cleaning your windows and mirrors, spray glass cleaner directly onto
a soft cloth to avoid streaking and to protect the upholstery.
No car cleaning tips page would be complete without this little gem:
Stash a blackboard eraser inside your glove compartment and erase condensation
when it fogs up your windshield.
